"... so that Fr. Aloysius be more widely known and loved ..."

Important Notice

Dec. 25, 2007

Bishop Gregory Aymond, the ordinary of the Diocese of Austin, has told me to "finish the preliminary work on Father Aloysius beginning in January." He has asked Fr. David Williams (a canon lawyer) to reside at Sacred Heart in La Grange from January through June.

Fr. David is responsible for his dissertation for a doctorate in canon law "but would be happy to assist sacramentally in the parish ... With this arrangement, you would have time to work on the project."

In his letter dated December 5 he states, "You could leave the parish after Masses on Sunday and return on Wednesday".

This allows 3 days a week to dedicate to the Father Aloysius project.

I am most thankful to God and our Blessed Mother for giving me this opportunity finish the preliminary work.

I ask for your prayers.

Sincerely,

Fr. Kevin Pius Manion
