Financing
Dr. Andrea Ambrosi has recommended we form a "membership" association to promote and finance the cause of beatification and canonization for Fr. Aloysius Ellacuria, C.M.F.
The Articles of Incorporation of the "Association for Cause of Beatification and Canonization of Fr. Aloysius Ellacuria, C.M.F." have been filed with the State of California. The first meeting of the Association is scheduled for June 21, 2014 in San Gabriel, CA. We presently need a financial commmitment of $40,000 to $50,000 to guarentee initial financing of the cause. We are awaiting the archbishop's approval of the Association as a "prinvate association of the faithful". The Association then needs to appoint Dr. Andrea Ambrosi as the postulator for the cause.
The Association for the Cause for Fr. Aloysius is a membership association.
The Association has two branches - The Board and The Shareholders.
Board members are elected annually by the General Assembly.
The Board - elected initially by the Founders and then by the General Assembly when their terms expire.
The Shareholders - comprised by Founders and Shareholders who are members of the General Assembly.
The subscription fee for membership in the Association is as follows, and is determined by the Board:
Founders: $5,000.00 annually (Initially elect the Board of Directors)
Shareholders: $ 500.00 annually (Initially 10 to 20 members who are present at the elections for the Board)
